In 2003, when Wounded Warrior Project® (WWP) was first created, the goal was simple: support wounded veterans coming home. What started with volunteers handing out comfort items to injured service members in hospitals eventually grew into one of the largest veteran non-profit organizations in the United States.
In the early years, there were no veterans organizations looking after those hurt following the attacks on 9/11. It was often the small things that mattered most; hygiene products, clothing, and simple reminders that people cared and that these veterans were not forgotten. Over time, that mission expanded into programs focused on mental health, physical wellness, career support, benefits assistance, and long-term recovery for veterans and their families.
In 2025 alone, WWP:
WWP’s core values are Service, Integrity, Loyalty, Fun, and Innovation. Those virtues mirror much of what XGN tries to build every day, making it one of the biggest reasons the community voted to support Wounded Warrior Project for this event. At the heart of both WWP and XGN is the same value: people helping people.
In XGN, these ideals shine through our mentorship programs, member support, organizing events, encouraging self improvement and development, and being readily available to help people when they need it most. Service is not about rank or titles; it is about showing up consistently for your community and the people around you.
Integrity is another huge part of building any strong community. Honesty, accountability, and respect is what creates trust over time, whether that comes through leadership, mentorship, or handling challenging situations properly. Many people within XGN put countless hours into helping their squads, divisions, and the community continue to grow.
Loyalty doesn’t mean blindly agreeing with everything. It means standing beside your people with neverending consistency while still encouraging accountability, improvement, and growth in your team when it matters.
Connection matters too. Gaming, socials, events, competitions, and mentorship spaces create friendships and support systems that last significantly longer than most people ever expect.
XGN operates best when people are willing to adapt, improve, and try new ideas instead of getting stuck in the mindset of “this is how it has always been done.” Growth only happens when people are willing to evolve.
At their core, both WWP and XGN strongly focus on:
This entire event has been community-driven from the very beginning. Multiple charities were suggested, the community voted together, and Wounded Warrior Project was ultimately chosen. This was not leadership simply putting together a stream — the community genuinely helped shape it from day one.
Our 24-hour charity stream will run from May 30th to May 31st starting at 10 AM EST. Throughout the stream there will be games, events, challenges, and more than a little friendly chaos along the way, including:
Our goal is to raise $1,500, and we have a bunch of incentives, punishments, rewards, and milestone events planned to keep things fun and interactive for everyone watching.
Donations may trigger things like:
We’ll also be doing milestone giveaways at:
Some of those milestones include jerseys, Discord Nitro and Twitch subscriptions, community challenges, and yes… people dyeing their hair for the cause. At the end of the day, this is about something bigger than gaming. Every donation, share, repost, and hour watched helps support veterans and their families through the programs provided by Wounded Warrior Project, with donations going directly to the program, not once touching XGN hands, thanks to Tiltify.
Gaming can genuinely help people reconnect. For some veterans, it offers stress relief, familiarity, social connection, and a place where they do not feel isolated or alone. Communities matter more than people sometimes realize.
This stream is about honoring those who sacrificed for others; supporting veterans who are still fighting battles long after coming home and reminding them that they are never forgotten.
Every donation matters.
Every share matters.
Every conversation matters.
