Welcome XGN readers! As you know with the addition DLC added Rise of Iron, Destiny now feels as complete as is imaginable. Its excellent, if slightly briefer than hoped campaign delivers some of the best-crafted missions, story-driven action Bungie has made since Halo. The new Rise of Iron book has added a whole new additional challenges to complete within the game. Destiny gamers have been waiting a long time for a DLC that was not only challenging but to keep them busy. Its new sandbox world brings a raft of new environments and activities to explore, and its new competitive and co-operative multiplayer modes that are better then the few drops of possibility from the game’s incredibly versatile PvP and PvE mechanics we previously had. With the addition of new crucible content added along with private match setting, clearly indicates Bungie has listened to the voices of the people of what they wanted. All of this is very good, and makes Rise of Iron a fairly easy package to recommend and that’s before we even get into the currently unrevealed Raid, built around the currently raid-less Fallen faction.
To continue, on the downside it feels like Bungie might have hit a level cap of its own, maxing out what Destiny can currently establish. Max out cap rate as of now is 385 light level. Rise of Iron is a great expansion, but it feels like one slightly straining at the edges of the game’s current framework, creatively excellent, but on the verge of repeating itself systemically. ” With last-gen platforms finally dropped in favor of a PS4/Xbox One-only release, Rise of Iron feels rather like a last word on the original Destiny, if you’ll excuse the accidental pun, before we move on to the inevitable sequel.” said by Mr. Houghton Destiny Spokesman. This DLC indeed is an accurate appraisal, then any other DLC. Rise of Iron has brought a re-vamp in all of story missions, Raid, crucible etc. Bungie has taken all errors and fixed most of them.
Furthermore, on a raid note they have made it not to difficult and not to easy. Instead they combined a puzzle based environment at certain points such as jumping puzzles and mechanical puzzles on the boss. The taken king DLC offered that but seemed extremely challenging. This DLC offers that and Bungie took it a step higher. They have cooperated now special pieces required to upgrade your gear just like the taken king with wormspore. As far as weapons and armor goes they have all have been increased combined with different abilities. Destiny: Rise of Iron DLC can be purchased for only $29.99. The rating received by this DLC is 8 out of 10. Thank you for reading and hope you get Rise of Iron today!
