Assassin’s Creed Movie Review: A disgrace for the world
Assassin Creed is a movie based on the video game. The Movie will be set in the same setting as the video game. The main character is named Callum Lynch, he travels back in to Spain through technology that unlocks memories that are in his DNA. He lives the life of Aguilar de Nerha, he is a distant relative of Callum Lynch.
Upon the release of this movie I needed a better understanding of what I was writing, I decided that I should go see the movie in theaters. I can say that Assassin Creed was honestly one of the worst movies I’ve ever seen. This movie is disorienting, makes very little sense, and worst of all, is a terrible, humorless bore. Perhaps fans of the video game will understand, but in the movie the concepts of the Apple of Eden and its hiding place makes very little sense. The characters also don’t seem to have much of a reason to be there.
There have been numerous opinions of video games for the big screen most of them unspeakably bad, and for better or worse, Assassin’s Creed, based on one of the most popular franchises, has perfected that sensation. Not only does it achieve the unenviable distinction of making the audiences feel like they’re watching a particularly rowdy teenager playing a dreary video game, but submits its central character to the same terrible torture as well.
Disclaimer: This review is the opinion of the writer, XGN Giggles 7, who has personally seen the movie. This opinion may differ from others who have also seen the movie or are fans of the AC franchise.
